Myleene Klass will host the Music & Drama Education Awards ceremony on 23 March courtesy of one of the event’s headline sponsors, Classic FM.

Taking place in person following last year’s virtual ceremony, the Awards celebrates the extraordinary contributions made by individuals, charities, organisations and schools to music and drama education.

From the shortlist, the winners will be selected by a panel of expert judges and announced by Klass at the ceremony. The event includes a champagne reception, live performances, and a three-course dinner.

A TV and radio presenter, designer, businesswoman, and classically trained musician, Klass hosts Smooth Classics at the weekend on Classic FM, a headline sponsor of the Awards.

Klass also hosts shows on Smooth Radio and has released several albums which have reached number one in the Classical Charts, as well as several parenting books that have reached the Top 10 Sunday Times Bestseller List.

She has collaborated with numerous brands including Marks & Spencer, Littlewoods, and Next.

Classic FM said: ‘Classic FM, the UK’s most popular classical music station, is delighted to be the headline partner for the Music & Drama Education Awards for the tenth year.

‘Ever since it first launched on air in 1992, Classic FM has aimed to make classical music accessible and relevant to everyone.

‘It’s a privilege, this year more than ever, to shine the spotlight on the people and organisations who have continued to deliver outstanding resources, opportunities, projects and support to students of all ages across the country.’

Classic FM is available across the UK on 100-102 FM, DAB digital radio and TV, on Global Player on your smart speaker (‘play Classic FM’), iOS or Android device and at ClassicFM.com.
