A triple brass event will take place in early July across the UK.
Brass Bands England (BBE) is championing the second edition of Brass Band Week from 5–13 July. Any event featuring brass bands or brass playing can sign up for the Week.
Benefits include support from BBE, free learning resources and paid advertising, and prizes for excellence in areas such as community impact, artistic programming, innovation or inspiring the younger generation.
Events include Brassed On! in Barnsley, featuring Grimethorpe Colliery Band, fScottish International Tuba Festival in Glasgow, Llandudno North Shore Bandstand in Wales, a free outdoor concert from Callington Town Band in Cornwall, and several events from Southampton Youth Concert on their 60th anniversary.
