After an 18 month hiatus due to the pandemic, the Music & Drama Education Expo returned to London with a bang, this year taking place at the Business Design Centre on 24 and 25 September.
On Day 1, Mark Phillips, Ofsted's senior HMI and national lead for music, presented on 'The substance of music education', outlining the school watchdog's expectations of music teachers and taking questions from the audience.
