Those receiving a BEM included Janet Elston (Triggshire Wind Orchestra, Cornwall Youth Wind Orchestra); Alison Kay (Poole Society for Young Musicians); Paula Klein (Ulster Youth Orchestra); Mark Long (Sawston Youth Drama); Deborah Lowe (Youth Onstage); Richard Moore (violin and guitar teacher); and Balbir Singh Khanpur (Bhujhangy Group, Smethwick).
