Guildhall School to open Kings Cross Young Artists centre in September

Guildhall Young Artists Kings Cross will open in September, offering those aged 5 - 18 courses in music, drama and production arts.

Guildhall School of Music & Drama has announced the extension of its network of Young Artists centres across the country with the launch of a new Kings Cross branch in September. 

This will be the third London-based Guildhall Young Artist centre, joining centres across the country including Taunton, Saffron Walden and Norwich, as well as an online option. 

As part of the new offering, young musicians, actors, designers and stage managers are invited to train with industry professionals and experienced practitioners on Saturdays during term-time at the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School.

The five courses available from 24 September are: 

  • Creativity Starts Here (ages 5-7)
  • Music Discovery Course (ages 7-11)
  • Music Course (ages 11-18)
  • Drama Discover Course (7-11)
  • Drama Course (11-18)

Later in the year a production arts course will be launched for those aged 14-18. 

Those who sign up before 12 September can receive 20% off each course and an additional free session.
