After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she studied singing, Amy started working in sales for The Singer and Teaching Drama Magazines for Rhinegold Publishing. Over many years and in a variety of roles (and now under MAG) Amy realised that her passion lies in helping to promote the importance of performing arts education. She has worked her way up to Publisher of Music Teacher and Drama & Theatre and is the Commercial Director of the Music and Drama Education Expos.

After studying at Goldsmiths, University of London, and the Academy of Music, Kraków, Phil worked as a music teacher before joining the New Grove Dictionary of Music as an editor. He was then Music Editor at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (2000–08), Commissioning Editor (Music) at Oxford University Press (2008–16) and Head of Editorial at OUP (2016–21), where he published academic, education and concert music titles.
