English Touring Opera has made an open call to boys aged 10-13 with unbroken voices to audition to play Orgando in its production of Handel’s opera Amadigi, which tours the UK in October and November this year.

To apply, send a short (1-2 min) audio recording of yourself singing something in English that shows your range to bradley.travis@englishtouringopera.org.uk.

Applications close on 16 August 2021.

The production tours to the following towns and cities and applicants would need to be able to travel to one of these for either one or two performances: Hackney Empire (London), Hexham Abbey (Hexham), York Theatre Royal (York), Poole Lighthouse (Poole), Royal Spa Centre (Leamington Spa), Great Malvern Priory (Malvern), Wiltshire Music Centre (Bradford-on-Avon), Saffron Hall (Saffron Walden), Assembly Halls (Tunbridge Wells), Snape Maltings (Snape) and Exeter Northcott (Exeter).
