Early Years Music Scotland has announced a year-long programme of free CPD for musicians working with early years children across Scotland.
Supported by Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative, the programme's 11 online sections will take place between September 2023 and March 2024.
The sessions are free for all Scottish residents, and will cover topics such as developing confidence in language through music, music learning and young brains, inclusion and creativity and more.
A call-out has also been issued for any Scotland-based musicians working with children or young people to attend a free mentoring opportunity. The programme mentor will be freelance musician and music educator Yvonne Wyroslawska.
