The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) has released the latest results of its annual survey of teaching, examining and accompanying rates.

The results of the survey indicate what other music professionals charge for their services, looking at different areas of the industry and analysing changes over time.

Conducted between September and December 2021, the survey asked participants about a range of areas including private teaching, experience and qualification, part-time teaching (employed and self-employed) and accompanying and examining.

Statistician Alix Naylor, who conducted the survey, will host a free online webinar on 26 April to talk through her findings.
