Music for Youth appoints three new trustees

National youth music charity Music for Youth has appointed three new trustees to oversee its work with people aged 25 and under across the UK. 

Collin Harris, a creative industry professional with over 15 years of experience, is one of the appointed trio. He is currently the head of creative development at Be United – a charity dedicated to promoting the arts and culture of Black and African-Caribbean community in Scotland, and is a filmmaker, musician and writer. 

The second trustee to be appointed is Lottie L’Amour – a writer and social media expert who works as a marketing manager for TikTok. Jon Pelluet has also joined the team, who is a senior fundraiser in the charity and arts sectors for nearly 20 years, working as director of development at The BRIT School. 

On the appointments Music for Youth chair, Margaret Willis, says: ‘We are delighted to welcome three new members to our Board, each of whom brings with them invaluable expertise from the music and arts sector; from marketing and youth culture to fundraising and creative strategy in diverse communities.’

‘They join us at an exciting time as we present a refreshed vision for the charity, focusing on new partnerships, enabling us to be more representative of the communities we serve.’

The trustees will help Music for Youth with its mission to ensure that every young person in the UK can achieve their musical potential by performing the music they love.
