MAX productions offers free music tickets to those under 26

The Musician and Artist Exchange (MAX) has launched MAX@245 – a series of music events held at 245 Hammersmith Road. The company encourages young people to attend, offering free tickets to all under 26s. 

The events include a concert by renowned pianist Joanna Macgregor on 18 October, where she will perform a variety of tracks from the likes of Bach, Nina Simone, Mary Lou Williams, Piazzolla and Eleanor Alberga. 

Early-career artists are also playing at the venue, including newly formed piano group Trio Balthasar, featuring pianist Ian Burnside, violinist Michael Foyle and cellist Tim Hugh. Their first public performance will be for MAX@245 on 20 October. 

On 23 October the National Opera Studio will showcase its ‘rising stars’ in an interactive masterclass with acclaimed countertenor Andrew Watts, displaying their talents with a programme of short scenes from world-famous operas. Later that day, female a-cappella quintet Black Voices will be performing a set titled ‘Strong Inside’. 

Europe’s longest running LGBT+ choir The Pink Singers are performing ‘SING! – an outdoor jamboree for the whole family’ on 24 October.
